The ISO 9001-2008, 2nd Surveillance Audit has been carried out successfully by TUV NORD Certification on 07/03/2012 at M/s. Fowler Westrup (India) Private Limited, Bangalore– NIRMAL FILTER Division and the company has been recommended for continuation of certification.

Safety day was celebrated within the company premises on the 5th of March. Mr.Srinath, Honorary Joint Secretary of National Safety Council inaugurated and presided over the Program. He also gave away prizes to the employees who participated in the Essay and Slogan competitions on safety.

Received an order for the biggest Pre Cleaner installed in India - 4 Nos. CC 2000 from a leading Indian soya processor. Each machine has a capacity to clean 250 TPH as a Pre Cleaner and 100 TPH as a fine cleaner.

FWL Silos - 450,000 MT Grains stored in India. We have made a humble contribution to the Grain Storage problems in India - Stored Wheat, Soya, Maize, Malt, Paddy, Rice, Mustard, Barley, Grain, Coffee Seeds, Paddy Husk, Corn, Dhall, Pulses etc in the most modern GIC Silos.

A great team effort from Nirmal Filter division - Revolutionized the assembly concept to bring down the turnaround time to less than an hour. Traditionally, the same machine would take up to 400 hours of assembly time.

Project team has made a Dhal plant dust free with innovative Dust Extraction system.

Four members of the International project design team visited Westrup, Slagelse, Denmark. The team had interactions with various technical teams and got the opportunity to study the nuances of latest technology in the field of Post harvesting machines. The time spent in sight seeing was a very memorable experience for each one of them.

The project team designed and executed a special pilot project for testing grains at full capacity at our R&D centre for the first time. Inspite of the various challenges faced due to incessant rains, narrow width of the plant area, multiple teams of FWL from mechanical, civil, electrical, pneumatic de-dusting and structural, commissioned the whole project within the shortest duration of 60 days and met the dead line before the arrival of engineers from Japan.

FWL has bagged a prestigious export order worth Rs.10 Million towards supply of Transformer Oil Regeneration Machine for Online operation .
